American servicemen have received combat pay for serving in designated hostile areas ever since and including Vietnam that I know of. I received $30.00 per month in Nam.

Today's soldiers in hostile fire areas receive $240 monthly. Let's look at how that money is used. We have the highest number of married servicemen and women ever. When their loved one is in a hostile fire zone that money pays for things like getting the yard taken care of, extra child care, service calls that the man could often can fix, and etc., etc..

Obama has just screwed most of these troops and their families out of $7.50 per day. This comes on the heels of an increase in family medicine co-pays by 66%, and a proposal to close all military commissaries.

I am convinced the only reason for these things is to diminish the morale of American fighting men and women thereby continuing to weaken our national defense.

Serving soldiers cannot fight political decisions. Therefore we must stand up for them just as they stand up for us. Please contact your politicians and object to this pay cut.

By cutting soldiers' combat pay, the Pentagon estimates savings of $30 million annually. That is chump change in a government org that spends $600 Billion annually including off budget items like war. I would wager the Pentagon spends a helluva lot more than $30 annually per person for social events for their 1,000,000 civilians.

The reason MSM does not care enough to make this an issue is they too don't give a shxt about our troops.
Any support for the military from them is all lip service designed to support obama.
