I'm glad you posted it. It makes me feel better.

From time to time I remark to someone that I was quite a looker in my day with a bod men wept over. The bod is still in decent shape for my age.

Now, the polite response would be something like "I can believe it". But, nearly 100% the time my audience just gives me a blank stare as if to say "You must be joking". I was beginning to think I remembered me incorrectly. :)
