If that's true, it's still no justification to force any religious institution to violate it's religious beliefs. Most Jews in the US are reform so we could force all Jews to eat pork if we decided there was a public purpose. Most Christians drive cars so we could mandate Amish to buy GM vehicles.

And btw there's no significant public purpose in mandating coverage of something as cheap as birth control. I think you could count on your fingers the number of women who get pregnant because they can't afford birth control.
