Defrocked,
It's not that I don't want to hear it...but you are way beyond my league. Can anyone with any accuracy calculate the price of an index option on any given day relative to the value of the index?And if so can it be put in more simplistic algebraic terms? E.G. You buy (x)put 30days before expiry @ (y) when the index was @ (a)...say then you want to put a projected value on (a) 5 days later. Could you find a value going forward for (y) ? Probably a stupid question, but I had to ask.
