One doesn't need a scientific analysis of music to understand that music reflects and provokes emotions. I particularly noticed the reference to Mendelssohn. Mendelssohn wrote "The Sadness of The Soul" or is it "Sadness of the Soul" which rarely is heard or mentioned. I discovered it several years ago in an old magazine of the early 1900's. Bookmarked your site------------what a great reference board. mj
