I don't know where you got that idea from, I never said anything like that. I think you might have misinterpreted what I have said.

Christ did not run away, HE went into the desert for 40 days to show us how we could resist the lies and temptations of satan (our enemy) in our lives, by using Himself (Jesus) as an example. And for other reasons not necessay to get into here.

Mnuench If Christ had done any of these things that you suggest there would be no salvation for any of us. No forgivness of sins, no way to be reconciled to God our Father. Christ was not thinking of Himself and what kind of empire He could have had....He was thinking of you and me. He was thinking of your family your friends, my fam. my friends..He was thinking of the world mnmuench. He could have had 1000's of angels at His side in a second, He could have just blinked and have stopped the men from beating Him. He could have disappeared from in the midst of them all who were beating and torturing Him. He had the power to cause the Mts. to fall on all of them. It is a mistake for any one to think that Jesus was powerless, and it is even more of a mistake for any one to think He should have negotiated His way out of your salvation.
By doing it the way that He did.......He saved a whole world of lives.!Including yours.

That's as unbelievable a statement as a coroner who would have said at the site of a deadly drunken car crash;... This is the fault of Henry Ford....Does that make sense to you?

He took the sins of you and me and the rest of mankind on His sinless character. He was tortured, beaten, spat uopn, ridiculed and crucified, so that we as sinfull, worthless, lazy damn wimps
could have eternal life. He the Son of God, God Himself in the flesh, and soon to come again as King of Kings and Lord of Lords,stood before Pilate prepared to be murdered because He had you on His mind. Your sins muench, my sins, the sins of the world muench are the resons He gave His life! He gave His life so that we lazy damn wimps could have life. Those nails hammered into His courageous loving precious, body di not hold him on that cross. His love for you did!!.......No greater love hath man then He who would lay His life down for a friend.
And Muench whether or not you believe this, does not change the truth of it.

Our time here muench is a lot shorter than we think (compared to eternity), even if we do live to be 90. Why then should we spend it knocking and comdemming even one person no less the Son of God, God in the flesh, the Saviour of the world.
I'm just like you muench a sinner, a worthless lazy wimp of a sinner,
but Christ had/has nothing to do with my sins except for the fact that He died for them!!. The difference between you and me is that I recognize what He did.....He died for me....now I will live for Him.
