Newbie, the biggest application for SRAM is, indeed, for PC/Mac/ workstation/server caches. For larger computers which are made from very fast custom chips, rather than from micros like the Pentium, SRAM is used for main memory. This is also a huge market because you're talking IBM, Amdahl, Hitachi Data Systems manufactured mainframes. These do still sell well. Liz
