Jerry a long term investor on SI is the one that holds a position for max one month!! They all say we are long term, but in essence we are all speculators!! (sorry if I offended anyone) As myself - those days, only a loosing position makes me a "long term investor" until I am able to bail out with various option strategies. My motto is now TAKE PROFITS BEFORE 4PM and run, always there is another day. Positon trading only for 2 to 4 days with 30% of portfolio. Haim
