If contraceptives are so cheap - then why the uproar? If they're cheap - great hand them out!

And condoms! Good golly. Great let's let conservatives take care of all those babies born to woman who depended on condoms to keep from getting pregnant.

I just don't get your argument. You want more unwanted babies or not?

The cost of contraceptives does not affect the number of unwanted babies. So your argument is specious.

Planned Parenthood has been around for 70 to 100 years depending on when you want to mark the birth of the organization. If it was an effective organization, we wouldn't have any unwanted babies. They offer free contraceptives. They offer free or low cost abortions....and yet we still have a massive population of poor women having multiple babies out of wedlock and collecting welfare.

It is disingenuous to say that reducing (or hiding) the cost of contraception or abortions will cause fewer unwanted babies to be born.

Outside of the moral issues that some people may have with contraception and/or abortion, the real reason to stop government funding of and/or forced insurance for them is that it simply doesn't solve the problem.
