Exciting to watch. Feel good to be a part of "Linsanity"

I've been watching Lin closely now for 5 games. First......I have to say.......prior to this run, the Knicks were a dead team. The offense had no flow......just a series of one on one matchups. They couldn't score 100 points and this is a D'Antoni (genius offensively) coached team. 8W 15L and after a brutal two point loss to the Celtics in Boston the night before, they came home and were down double digits in Q1 to the lowly Nets. Finally Lin gets the call and the transformation from that very moment has been nothing short of miraculous. Regardless of what happens from now on.......this guy saved the Knick season. Back to Lin. Defensively....he is only average and the Minnesota guard lit him up pretty well. But.....he should get better with experience. His dribble is a bit high and superficially looks to be subject to turnovers. However, he is handling the ball so much
and attempting to penetrate so often, you have to expect some turnovers. His decision making is very good and will only get better. From what I've seen, small quick ball sniping guards will give him the most trouble. So far, his outside shot is more than good enough and if it remains so, he is very dangerous. But the best aspect of his game is his ability to penetrate into the paint under control and ether dish off or get all the way to the hoop. A good point guard has to be able to do this. Only a few do it better and this is after 7 games. I think the sky is the limit for this guy and the D'Antoni system is tailor made for him. He has elevated the play of the whole team to a playoff contender. Even TV color man and all time Knick great Walt Frazier is sold on Lin. When asked what was it like when he was a rookie and did everybody in New York know his name his first year.....he replied.... "I didn't know my own name my rookie year."
