ComTech Consolidation Group, Inc. to Acquire Access Provider and Announces Formation of New Consolidation Subsidiary
HOUSTON, Nov. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- ComTech Consolidation Group, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CCGI - news), today announced it has reached an agreement to acquire Access Communications Inc. (Access), a Houston, Texas based full- service Internet Solutions Provider, that delivers high quality, turnkey Internet services to commercial customers located primarily in the Houston Metropolitan Area.
Keith Burson, President of Access Communications commented, ''Becoming part of ComTech with its array of state of the art technologies provides Access Communications with the ability to continue to compete and remain viable in this highly competitive industry. Just being a quality access provider will no longer be enough in this business.''
Richard Behlmann, President of ComTech stated, ''The acquisition of Access Communications is consistent with our consolidation strategy, to identify business opportunities and then utilize our state of the art technologies in a manner that maximizes positive impact on sales and earnings. ComTech will be consolidating Access with its other two subsidiaries under a newly formed EISP Corporation. EISP, which stands for Enhanced Internet Service Providers, was organized specifically to unify on-line or Internet related operations under one single entity, for a single market presence which is more efficient than the sum of their respective operating parts.''
EISP Corp. will consolidate the Company's Internet communications services, Internet videoconferencing, voice, fax and standard access, its firewall and anti-virus solutions and its network security offerings, including its proprietary ''United Security Services'' package under a single brand strategy. The United Security Services package includes risk assessment, penetration testing, intrusion detection monitoring and security policy development. The Company's developmental services, such as the LightRay(TM) package and wireless Internet access will be introduced under the EISP(TM) brand.
Behlmann went on to state, ''As with any new company forecasting future performance becomes a function of best estimates considering known facts plus planned events. In ComTech's case, it came into existence in August of this year and initially forecasted its first year revenue at $15 million with roughly a 10% bottom line, to which the performance of our on-line divisions played a large contributing part. During this brief three month period significant progress has been made toward that end, as our Internet related divisions have now started to show much improved operating results, and we have several acquisitions in the works. Now, by adding this acquisition to the mix, with its well-developed commercial customer base, we feel that this consolidated division will out perform our initial forecast. In terms of additional acquisition activities, we soon plan to announce other acquisitions which will also have more significant positive impact on ComTech operations.''
