Yes, that last paragraph sounds very interesting and frightening doesn't it?

Morgan and Montgomery bought the whole package to sell for a $5 million commission.

With the conversion fixed unless a material change occurs I don't see how a lower price would benefit anyone. A few people spent a lot of money and want to see a higher price. They could convert beginning on the 5th or 7th of this month for several years earning approx. 5.5% interest on the bonds.
