tech: The code for the MD Nevada project was originally converted using the "packed binary" technique. However, after MD announced support for the more "socially acceptable" techniques, Nevada requested that it be redone. I don't know whether they used windowing, full expansion, or a combination of the two.

I don't know what the current status is, whether or not it went through testing by Nevada yet (of course, if you believe in their testing claims, then site testing is unnecessary ... the code will work the same as it did before conversion). A lot has happened since the Nevada conversion. The proper place to get up to date info on that one is on the ZITL thread.

You are correct ... just because I haven't heard of CSGI's (or MD's, or any of the multitude of 'solutions') successes doesn't mean that they haven't had any. It just means I haven't heard about them.

The Millennium project (look out ... this is heresy!) is no big deal, in my opinion. It was an HP3000 conversion. When they start cranking out MVS conversions, then I'll sit up and take notice ... and tell those folks who contact me for suggestions. Until I'm sure that they can deliver in that environment, I'm not advocating them.
