I am sure I was vicariously experiencing the extreme discomfort experienced by Dawkins as he came face to face with such palpable and driving HATE behind it. But I see what you mean. Poor Dawkins! Used to intellectual polemics within a civilized subculture suddenly face to face with a stone-age savage armed, as Frost put it. And Ted--recognizing his own intellectual impotence and his sexual impotence in such a heterollectual (my neologism) space--going apoplectic in his rage.
