You aren't going to convince them. But other people can be convinced by what actually happens.

What I was referring to was not whether or not there's a war on religion. I take your point on that. What I was referring to when I said there was no way to convince them was that religious imposition on others is right and proper and that those who resist said imposition are in the wrong. This is the basis for the attitude that supports the notion that there's a war on religion.
