Well, thanks, Dan, but no thanks. Don't do me no favours like that, please, making anything mandatory is the sure way to instill hatred for it -g-. You get lots of good lines yourself, a few posts that cooled the air of various flame wars and re-started rational thought come to mind.

True for the great majority of us, imho. I have many posts back in the threads that I'd like to edit or delete, results of hitting the "Submit" button before completing (and in some cases before really beginning) the thinking process. Likely we all do. What was that Stewart Brand said? "Smart but not wise"? We're only human, but we try to learn....
There's lots to learn here, lots of quality thought, especially on the more general threads like Kahuna, Value Investing, Gold Price Monitor, Mohan, Idea, Millenium, etc, etc.... Even on the stock-specific threads, there is much to stimulate thought, sometimes there are answers but more often good questions. Could the questions be of more value? Answers can be found elsewhere, if at all, and for the investor even the lack of adequate answers is an answer in itself, you can't get to that point without the question, though....
The medium grows up, I think, what a fantastic tool, eh? Let's hope we as a species (homo sapiens siliconus) become worthy of it -g-
