Women need to speak up about birth control

Contraceptives have improved the everyday lives of millions

This isn't even the issue. Most of us would agree that the availability of birth control is a good thing.

The point at issue is whether it is any of the federal government's business whether insurance companies choose to provide it [with no copayment] as part of their policies. This is an unprecedented level of intrusion into the private lives of Americans. They have no business there.

Secondarily, but also as important, is the fact that for some it is a religious matter and the state has NO CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT to involve itself in such decisions. Period. Broadly. Without any question.

You guys are all about separation of church and state except when it is for some liberal goodie you want. Then, church and state can conveniently merge into a single entity for all you care.

Liberal hypocrisy at its worst.
