I found the news bullet on TLAB.

Tellabs Inc. (TLAB) shares rose 5 7/8 to 73 3/8 after Merrill Lynch & Co. said recent discussions with the maker of computer networking products indicates that the company will post a 42 percent gain in third-quarter revenue to $215 million, and will likely post earnings of 42 cents to 43 cents a share, compared with 30 cents in the year-ago period.
