But just those few words make me stand back for a bit and wonder if that is true of the opponents on the other side of the fence. In theory, we are ALL Americans and want the best for our Country. That should include Democrats as well as Republicans.... BUT..... I wonder if it is true....maybe for just this side of the fence. Are we so up and locked that we would only pick the person we most agree with? Or will we pick the person who has the best chance of winning? Are those choices for the SAME person? Or two totally different people? What if there is an outside candidate, and he was Jeb Bush? Would we throw a hissy fit because we don't want a 3rd Bush? Or would he actually be able to unite the entire country and therefore be more electable? As for the other side of the fence....Surely not every person who is a Dem thinks what is happening now is the right answer. I'd like to hear what people like Zell Miller and Sam Nunn think .... Some of the people on the Left don't give a rip about the country....they want the handouts Uncle Sam is willing to hand out under this Dem Adm..... These same folks don't want to and don't pay any income taxes....they have zero skin in the game, as they say. These same people believe that Obama is right when he praises unions and other such power grabbers.... But still, there has to be people on the other side that love our country as much as the rest of us. Is there a candidate that we can put up that will fit most of their criteria for a President, and can that same candidate please the rest of the folks on our side of the fence? OMG...ABO!
