Your assertions of a Cyrix 586 design in the MediaGX isn't correct

The MediaGX uses a 64 bit external data bus (vs 32 in the 586), includes a branch target buffer, puts the graphics frame buffer into main memory and integrates the FPU unit.

The two chips don't even have the same voltages.

Would you care to cite some specific sources for the benchmarks because I have Cyrix's showing Pentium level performance at equivalent MHZ and I have several machines here on which I would be happy to run any benchmark you can come up with. And I find Win95 programs working faster on the GX than on the Pentium 133.

I'm not sure who is trying to dupe whom here. Perhaps in your enthusiam for Intel you have overstated the case? I'm willing to be objective---just give me the sources for the benchmarks you allude to.
