It was science that hauled us out of the dark ages

Science shouldn't be about claiming some idea as consensus, calling anyone who disagrees "anti-science", and manipulating data to support the consensus as unquestionable truth rather than a specific theory your supporting. Science isn't about unquestionable truth at all. When scientists forget that, or act against it, science suffers.

Of course science is done by people, and people are imperfect. They oversell their points. form political groupings about different ideas, etc. That's probably unavoidable, but opposing that idea isn't "anti-science".
