.........very bad comparison. amazon must compete with barnes and noble and border's--no barrier to entry and huge competition. in fact, barnes will blow away amazon within 3-5 years--they have announced so and are ready to roll out their internet bookstore!!!!!

........the first explosion on the net has been the financial services companies--lots of people trade online.

........the next big step will be to bank on line and ckfr has EXCLUSIVE long term agreements with most of the major banks.

.......you probably would not have bought AOL, amgen, or cisco when they were at a few dollars a share because of the p/e. p/s etc.--now look at them.
