I just sent you an email.... Re the hand.....Blow the picture up if at all possible....Kinkco-FedEx does a great job....it might be more clear....He might be holding gloves, but it does look like something else. His jacket is too long in the sleeve, but then again, sometimes they did that.... There may be some old historic newspapers that might tell more of the story....or in a Historical or Genealogy Society back in CT...
