LU does have great technology. As far as CUBE is concerned, I'm not worried about LU's small transistors, which are produced using E-beam lithography -- very expensive and not for mass production. LU's strength in digital video comes from its deep and broad knowledge of digital video technology acquired through many years of research, and its commercial fab capacity.
