Rosemary, I have read Ben Zack's editorial of Nov. 9th, in which he feels the destabilization of world currency, with devaluation of a few countries' currencies, then spreading to all of Asia, then on to South America, etc., with first banks collapsing, then brokerage houses collapsing, etc, that this problem is a world dominoes problem, and will steam roll us all. I was so bullish until I got the wakeup call of Oct. 27th.
Sorry for the doom and gloom, but Yamaichi closing it's doors, now that is news. Where does it end? Foreign countries will have to pull out of U.S. Treasury holdings to try to prop things up at home How long will the IMF be able to bail everyone out?
Where does it end. Something big is going on here.
