Not at all. That's your inference, not my assertion.

It is not unusual for the government to take actions that make it no longer advantageous for some businesses to operate so those businesses change, sell, or just close down. It's hyperbolic to call that theft. Bullying, perhaps, but hardly theft.

This whole thing is about getting churches out of the health care business.

Whether or not that's the intent, I don't know. I would, however, be happy with that result. Just as you are fearful of health care providers that you don't trust to respect your values, so am I.

I know of no reason why church ownership adds value to the quality of health care.
