My daughter & SIL were looking at a place over the weekend.....20 acres(not even a tad bit swampy), shell of a house, a couple of out buildings including a very useable barn....the place could do with a lot of sweat equity...all for the amazing asking price of $29,000.

Do you think some heartless bank recovered their costs on that one?

Would have made an offer on the place except for the fact that it would have cost them an extra five to seven hundred dollars a month in gas driving to work.

This country is in a lot of financial trouble.....many shoes yet to drop.
