I think the US is going to worry some more about Asia the first part of next week. Yamaichi Securities will more than likely fold on Monday. They are one of the top four largest securities brokerages in Japan. Korea now on the IMF bailout list. This will undoubtably be a plus for Korean market, and should halt the fall of the Won.

I dunno, and I don't have a doctorate in Finance like you, but I just know that the DJIA and the Nasdaq have been on a rampage upwards with hardly a break for the last week. Between profit taking and hardly any good news out of Japan, the chances for a 2 to 3 day decline are high, IMO. I'm sitting on the sidelines for at least Mon., probably Tues also.

Click on Quotes (Yahoo finance) and check out Market News for Saturday. Yamaichi is big news.
