Yeah, I have been following the Yamaichi strory on a different thread "Ask Mohan about the Market." Yamaichi story was known on Friday and so the market was depressed for most part of the day. Then, it rose because (?) traders felt it might not affect the US. But, I have genuine concerns.

I suppose the pressure on QNTM is competition from SEG and WDC, not from Asian problems. The currency devaluation helps these companies because they produce some of their components there. The companies affected are the ones who sell there, like INTC, SUNW, AMAT, etc., IMO.
