there was no way to turn around the economy any sooner without risking revisiting severe recession/depression.....corporate America is sitting on record piles of cash.....blame them for not hiring back people.

I beg to differ, there was a lot that could have been done to assist in an economic turnaround such as easing regulatory burdens, embracing domestic energy sources, easing the corporate tax burden. Instead BO gave billions to his cronies and worked on an abortion of a healt care bill.

Regulatory, tax, health care and energy uncertainty prevent obstacles to business "investing" their "record piles of cash". Perhaps the best use of cash is to return it to the shareholders. Job creation is the result of wise investment.
