A very large part of China's growth the last decade
was fueled by money from Hong Kong, and the SE Asian
Chinese community. Some money also came from S Korea
and Japan. You know what's going to happen to that
money now. There are hundreds of new skyscrpers in
Shanghai thats 70 % empty right now, mostly foreign money
built, you will hear about them in a few month.

Most of the 1998 budget were planned before this
crisis and already priced in.

Cliffs got rig contract renewed at same rate? No
rate increase? I thought they were going to auction
it off at Southbey's or somewhere. Should have sounded
an alarm bell if you paid attention.
