I've decided to wait a couple of more days before I go in for the MRI. The doc told me my options are to keep icing and wait and see, or go in for the MRI. After icing and elevating all day, it's feeling better, so I've decided to give it a couple of days and see how the healing progresses. If it doesn't keep getting better I'll go in, but I can honestly say with every hour that goes by it keeps getting better and better.

PS the neat thing is I had xrays on both knees today and the doc said my the bones in my knees look healthy and arthritis free.
