I remember those WTO protests in 1999. I was in Alaska, and from there it seemed like they were a bunch of spoiled brat hooligans. A few stood outside the federal building where I worked holding their stupid signs. We just ignored them.

I have no problem with peaceable assembly, but if a crowd gets out of hand and starts breaking things and hurting people, I have no problem with commensurate force being used to make them behave.
