off topic, bj, you are right about mu except that dram didn't pop $0.50 to my knowledge. dan "i'm off by miles" niles said dram pricing was going up (it wasn't, it was going DOWN!), kip ba-blow-hard said demand remained strong and tom hurlcrap said that mu looked strong and then the final straw was when he said all semis should be up 20%. it took mu 2 days to do it. of course, i never heard why they should go up 20%. i do know the answer, though. hurlcrap needed to sell them ;-)

the whole computer industry is headed for a disaster. oversupply is everywhere. pretty soon dell and cpq will have to devour each other after they beat back the gtws and mueis of the world.
