I wish somebody else would write their perceptions of New York to
have a balanced picture..
I know what I see but I am afraid my perceptions reflect my age and
my history...I try to talk to as many people as I can...
I keep on running into people who are stressed out or who tell me
they are just taking one day at a time..
The only really great thing I see is that more and more younger people
are having children..and more and more people seem to be getting
animals..hopefully priorities are beginning to change..
Also the more the average American gets involved in the stock market..
I think a fundamental perception will change. They will think of their
schoolmates when they were little who used to cheat on tests ..to
do well. They will see stocks tank before public news is out..they
will see stocks rise before public news is out..and they will begin
to realize how much a lot of wealth is built through insider information etc..and manipulation...so when they see that expensive
car or expensive suit..it will start registering a negative reaction..
(maybe my fantasy)
