Continuing PC shopping, I visited Gateways web site this morning. I found an interesting offering:

Intel PII 233 MMX
32 SDRAM
512 cache
15" monitor
nVidia 4 MB AGP Graphics
2 GB hard drive
24X CD Rom
Telepath w/x2 modem
$1799 + $95 shipping = $1894

This seems to be a better price compared to the Micron XKU233 PII for $2029 which has most of the same features. Main difference is you get a 3.2 GB hard drive and MS Office97 from MUEI. I use MS office at work and having it on my home PC would be convenient.

PS. I also checked out Dell's site. They are clearly more expensive than MUEI or Gateway. Richard.
