The sentence 2 above is yours--not mine. What I said was universal morality was not 'binding'. Rather, it was “objectively justified by REASON and HUMAN INTEREST.” Any reference I made to force was in regards to my opposition to it and my distaste for the immorality of force. Please try to follow:
REASON and HUMAN INTEREST have always been the basis for the rules and regulations implemented in human groups to facilitate survival, safety, and happiness. Nothing except the rational understanding and execution of human interest (which obviously includes natural empathy and compassion) compels individuals in human groups to act with moral regard to one another. Obviously, rules and regulations (the nuts and bolts of the moral edifice) differ severely from society to society and from culture to culture. But due to the common needs and interests of our species, we normally have an approximate agreement as to right behavior and as to which sorts of human behaviours are inappropriate for group survival, safety, and happiness. The commonality (where it exists) derives from REASON applied to human INTEREST.

A perfect example of your lack of honesty--your fundamental deficit of character. I just finished saying that I was NOT pro-abortion. I made it very clear that I defend the RIGHT to that choice, and I have consistently made that point in dozens of posts over the years! I have never ever advocated abortion and you cannot find one post out of thousands and thousands and thousands I have made which belies this fact. If you are incapable of remarking the difference, it is either due to your abysmal STUPIDITY or to your deliberate dishonesty and deficit of moral character. Your bad, Dumbkins!
