richard(comments on pc purchase)

1. if you wait another month should see prices drop considerably.
the low end of the market <1000 is pulling down the high end.
2. don't know your uses of pc but usually greatest disk size possible is best choice. The larger disks usually have faster speeds , this will increase throughput on pc depending on appication.
3. shop for monitor separately , all 15 in monitors are not created equal.
4. Look for a bundle that some retailer is dumping, that meets your min qualifications, easy to upgrade mem, modem at low price.
5. I think you should stick to your original $1500 estimate.
6. Get the most software bundled in the machine , check prices to see how much adding to value.

Hopefully this was some help, remember prices are comming down not going up. So patience should reward you with a great machine at a good price.
