Not sure what is added to the mix of any panspermia event that changes anything at all for understanding what is still the ongoing quest to understand the interaction of physics , chemistry & biology that forms the basis of life & ongoing evolution . Even if it is true that life was genetically engineered & introduced by some extraterrestial intlelligence & agency which can be allowed, it really changes not one single thing in understanding ourselves . That discussion primarily dealt with the concept of morality & ethics being dependent on anything other/outside what can be objectively observed in human society & demonstrates cleary that there is no evidence for the need of thesism , these observances & restraints characterizing human thought & behaviors are already inherently present within the framework of who we all are and present today in large societies that do not worship or subscribe to the ONE supernatural being . Certainly every modern technological advance that has developed & matured when examined can be explained by what we have chosen to spend the greatest energy on & pursue . If there is some sample of this extraterrestial presence & influence , certainly besides a few ancient carvings or pointing to the pyramids or certain arcane individual occurances there would be other such signs of that contact and purpose divined ? One of the most obvious technologies that has risen to almost the pinnacle of human achievement is communication networks , there are all the channels being scanned right now so any alien being is free to amke contact any time they wish . There is some movement in human thought , research or some of the very advanced technologies developed so far that you wish to point to as coming from such contact or an interpretation of the intensions such contact has left behind in these symbols & relics ? Some solutions to our present dillemmas that were implied or left within that artifactual symbolism ? Some individual that gave a special technological breakout idea that could be attributed to anything other than dilligent observation & more precise measurement of data ? Its all very vague you must admit but what science has been doing for the last 2centuries is the equivilent of building all three of the Pyramids over again by the efforts of 1000's of dedicated reserchers to the extent we may be able to recreate the singularity itself & even peer behind the veil of of old models & grasp what will be entirely alien to any earlier view of reality not to mention relink all the sciences under a completely different paradigm . And this doesn't hold the least bit of excitement for you ?
