Next Ban: Sand Castles

When do-gooder bureauweenies are done tightening their control, what will be left that they do not deem too harmful to permit? That was a trick question; they’ll never be done tightening their control. Until the last human is frozen in amber, there will always be some activity progressive totalitarians had never thought to suppress. Currently, the Environmental Protection Agency is laying the groundwork for a ban on building sandcastles:
EPA researchers and their counterparts at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Johns Hopkins University observed a positive relationship between sand exposure and gastrointestinal (GI) illnesses as a function of fecal microbial pollution in beach sand.

According to the study, digging in beach sand makes you sick. Funny that in all the centuries people have been goofing around on the beach, no one ever noticed. Good thing we have the EPA to make us aware of all the unimagined threats government can protect us from.

The eventual ban on sandcastles already has precedent regarding other normal beach activities. Throwing a Frisbee on the beach is already illegal in liberal-infested Los Angeles; bonfires have been targeted in comparably moonbattery-addled Seattle.
