I completely agree, GZ, but that's what the lower tiers voted for and they outnumber us.
If we can manage to elect Romney in November, when he takes office in January he and his adminstration must not waltz in there like nothing has happened over the past four years. He needs to swiftly respond as though he is addressing the worst natural disaster in the history of the world. I don't want to see any of this "reaching across the aisle" nonsense when he builds his cabinet and makes appointments.
If he has a majority in Congress, and all indications are that he will, they must all act in unison to repeal, revoke, rescind, and remove ALL Obama laws, orders, and policies. Then, they must set about taking very unpopular (with the left) actions that will prevent this kind of nightmare from ever happening again.
I doubt they will do any of that, unfortunately. No lessons will have been learned, much less acted on. Yes, the nation will be far better off than under Obama, but beyond that, the presence of undesirables and illegals will still pervade society and I damned well want to know what the government plans to do about it. We're not electing them to facilitate the presence of undesirables and illegals and make their lives happier, easier, and pleasant. I want to see full deportations like during Ike's "Operation Wetback". I also want to see more jails, prisons, and execution centers built and used, and I damned sure want to see welfare and all forms of socialism ended in ways that are fair to those who have paid into those unsavory plans.
As many people are, I am completely nauseated by any thoughts of the government regardless of who is in charge. This will all end very, very badly someday. -nfg- |
