If they perform a useful service there adding value. You seem to be looking for additional value that others would not add, but even if there is none there is still value added. If they don't add any extra value why does that make it an us vs. them" fight, or any kind of fight at all. That seems to be contradicting your earlier (in the same post) comment " My question wasn't arguing anything, making it a political issue, or deeming it inappropriate."
