Why buy low and sell high, based on new management installation, before fundamental changes? Because new management brought with them a reputation of management skills. A program is generally revealed shortly after the new management got in. There are just many, many well known managers that can do a fantastic jobs on Wall street that we have to use the past history of managers as a sure fire investment idea.

Some winners:
Jack Welch, Jr.--GE
"Chainsaw" Dunlap--Scott Paper and recently Sunbeam
Lou Gertsner--IBM
--Grand Union and Kmart
--AMES
Rick Miller--AT&T and Lucent
Some Losers:
George Fisher--Motorola and Kodak
--Quarterdeck
Dresden--Computer2000 and AQS

However, these managers have to be watched all the time, most are not versatile enough to last a long time. If they do, the investment could be many, many folds of original investment.
