youtube.com - a remarkable young man ... the lack of accountability of some charities can be quite stunning, we knew down south a roman catholic priest escaped from Guatemala, had stories on a couple whose words [to norteamericanos] did not match up with their actions [to latinos] ... either in dollar amounts, or in caring how the money was spent, who actually got it, what it was used for, nothing, except getting good documentation in receipts ... even when apparently effective, charity fosters dependence, smart charity has to see itself more as investment
