Thanks for your time Mq. although you never answered my question regarding your gold predictions how-to....you sly devil. Why give up your secret?
You must admit the hundreds year old solar sunspot observation graphs must be taken with a grain of salt....a truly scientific data stream can only be considered useful when using the same instruments and observational criteria through out the period. A Chinese looking through a dark glass recording sunspots might not hold up to todays rigor. But in general, you are spot on imho :)
I'm not in Ottawa, but am at a similar latitude, and we experienced the worst winter storm of the year last weekend (not to mention the terrible tornadoes in the US causing many deaths), followed by a deep freeze of -30C, followed by above freezing temps and rain today. We had a week of winter in January, and again last weekend, the rest was fall and spring. Last year was a mild winter and I put over 300 kms on my cross country skis, this year I have 75 kms and another 50 planned this weekend.
I realize the tongueincheek approximation in your 2020 re-glaciation prediction. I agree, the Earth is not in balance, never has been, never will be. All is change. We are like a short lived fly, buzzing around the bowl of fruit. We think the universe has always been thus. The bowl of fruit has always been here, we are the center of the universe, thus our actions are causing the bowl of fruit to decay.
Looking forward to your Dec 31st 2013 gold prediction.
Hope you enjoyed our nations capital. |
