2012: Are we forever doomed??
Posted on March 7, 2012 by Nancy Planeta

Since the birth of mankind, humanity has sought to secure an “end date” for it’s own existence (as is evident in the writings left behind for us by every great culture that has ever left an “imprint” for us to find.) This narcissistic fact becomes evident the more we study history and historical writings, as each generation has had their “prophet” of doom who steps forward to deliver their heart pounding, blood pressure raising diatribe laced with innuendos of misbehavior and hellfire’s revenge come from the depths to reclaim what “ruling indigenous animals have destroyed through their carelessness.” With each prophet, comes the failure of the prophecy, as people seek to matrix words and dates scribbled in haste to exact the date of the last breath of the brotherhood of mankind and preach it to the world as warning that their agenda is correct, and all is lost.

With that said, my question is this: FOR WHAT GAIN do you seek to predict an end times?? WHAT good does this bring to your fellow man?? Do you seek to alter their behavior patterns to affect “goodness to all” and “peace on earth in her last days”? OR, is it the want of notoriety that perhaps if one predicts a date enough times, eventually you MAY get it right?? (Not that anyone will be reading it if you are correct, lol…) To make an analogy, I see “end time prophets” as the “ass” in the front seat of the car with you, yanking your steering wheel because they believe you cannot avoid what is ahead, and by doing so, cause an accident that was not going to happen had they NOT touched the wheel.” WILL this accident affect those in the car?? YUP. Damn right it will, and it will even affect those in traffic around you… but will it destroy the entire roadway? umm… no… eafraid not, it may leave a scar on the pavement, and some bent metal that in time will be removed or repaired, but it does not impact anything but the little universe you were driving in.

The message that I am trying to deliver with this blog is that we are all victims of the realities we create around us.. and by perpetrating a reality to another, we affect their “driving skills” and directly alter their “life paths” with OUR fear and “enlightenment.” WILL bad things happen?? Things that can effectively alter the population of the world and decrease it’s size by large numbers?? YES… that is REALITY… every so often, a large catastrophe will rear it’s head, and the ranks of mankind are thinned out for a bit.. (the last one being “Yellow Fever” at the turn of 19th century) This “surge” knocked out a quarter of the world population, yet mankind, continued.. before that, we had the “black plague” and several large scale floods, AND… WAIT FOR IT… CLIMATE CHANGE!!! ( and I am sure we can blame that all on human flatulence due to overpopulation) That’s right folks!! A shift in the temperature of the planet can actually be blamed directly for things such as the “French Revolution” to the “Irish Potato Famine” .. (didn’t you EVER wonder why in history Europeans to the north absolutely NEVER bathed unless they were royalty or hierarchy?? It was because the earth was approximately 7 to 10 degrees cooler.. snow.. was common in the SUMMER months..) Thus.. Greenland.. received it’s name because when it was discovered.. it was actually “Green”.

To the people who populated the planet during these times of duress.. it was “end times”. the religious overtones of the era agreed that “God” was punishing mankind for their lack of faith.. SO.. WHAT did this result in?? DID people become better neighbors?? Did they feed the poor? Clothe the naked?? Treat the sick??… um no… we saw the “Burning Times” in Europe, and a mass exodus to the “New World” where we then saw the attempted genocide of the indigenous peoples in the Americas and the enslavement of the Africans to work as a production force, followed up with Mass wars worldwide, and then WW1, and WW2 .. SO much for “peace on earth and goodwill towards men.”

Those of you reading this may detect an undertone of sarcasm in me, and rightfully so, As a person who has studied history endlessly, and observes human nature as a habit, I see the modern trappings of computer networking and communications as both a blessing and a burden.. we have the ability to mass share information, but one cannot “mass share” common sense. With all of the postings regarding 2012 and the “End Times” I felt SOMEONE had to step forward and ring the “common sense” bell and shake things up a tad.. we can ALL fit signs of forewarning into our personal realities, and feed into them continuously until we have blocked ourselves off to any other reality that may exist. the simple truth is this.. Life, is one moment to the next, one nano second connecting to another, each decision we make alters the flow of our lives, and each reality we choose to believe, alters our destinies in the end. SO CHOOSE wisely what you believe and live life to it’s fullest, because the good, bad and ugly that we face every day, in the end paints a beautiful and unique portrait that is signed personally by each individual who has walked the path of the painting.
