Hi Joan,

I think your logic is okay when it comes to anecdotal things that happen in the news... but when system problems occur, I know I tend to expect the worst... remember the S&L crisis (you aren't THAT old now are you, dear)?

Well the first figures that came our way for that S&L thing were just the tip of the iceberg... at best we could see a coupla bil down the old rat hole... at worst, a Marshall plan for all of SEA.

Now my experience is reality is closer to the latter than the former.

What say you?
