The problem with your assertion that the bible is a bad translation is that most new testament scholars don't agree, and I'll give one simple example. Bart erhman says there are over 200,000 textual errors in the bible, but he fails to tell you that 99% of them don't damage the foundation of Christian beliefs, and William lane Craig caught him on this and he was even asked about this on a radio program.

When the host asked him what he thought the true bible meant and responded by saying that they meant exactly what they said lol. Now with that said, the new testament has a better historicity then any figure in ancient history and the scholarly historians know this. If you don't believe in the historicity of the new testament than you don't believe Alexander existed, that Hannibal existed that any ceasar existed or any historical figure existed. Heck this means that past history itself doesn't exist.

Thank God the ancient history I read isn't written by the skeptics on this forum .

Imagine being taught in high school or college history class that HISTORY DOESN'T EXIST!!!!!!!

Hehe

I think the title of the thread clowns is aptly named. Have fun guys with your history conspiracy theories lol
