Paul, the reason people shop at higher end stores is that they presume that they will be treated fairly and on a reasonable basis. This is why Nordstrom has been so successful. Their prices are certainly no bargain but you know that in the end all problems will be resolved to the consumers satisfaction. In my opinion, if MUEI is to be successful and compete with Compaq, HP, Dell, Gateway, etc it can't have minor league policies and compete in the majors as it will eventually catch up with them. When someones pays top dollar for a state of the art machine and is sent used parts, which are most likely subject to a full credit from a supplier, I strongly believe this is a poorly thought out policy by management. Furthermore and as troubling is that I was given this bullcrap excuse that the second drive was probably dropped in shipment. I am not trying to pick a fight as I too have a substantial investment in this company; however it seems to me that MUEI is claiming to be something that it isn't and that some of you folks on this board are being hoodwinked by MUEI. Hopefully management will get their act together one of these days or someone will acquire them.
