Hitler was an extreme right wing nationalist and ultimate racist who fought against unions and murdered gays and communists-- especially Jews - whether practicing or not. These horrible attempts to politicize and smear science (or liberalism as is common by right wing noisemakers) are hyperbolic and the sickest form of historical revisionism. Reading right wing blogs you would think that Hitler was Barak Obama, while the right wingers talk Amercian Christian exceptionalism as justification for using nukes and destroying whole countries, to "save" them and us. We've heard this bullshit before... read history.
